By far, doing this roundup has become one of NC Culture’s favorite jobs! Not only do the folks who may have missed a photo they might particularly enjoy get another chance, but we also get to enjoy the photo twice!
By far, David’s photo was the runaway top photo this week, and it’s easy to see why, isn’t it?
John Haldane on Fine Art America
John also has a facebook page, Grand Memories Photography and Digital Art
John Haldane is a photographer we don’t see nearly enough of, probably due to John’s being involved in such a variety of projects. This was one of the first photos we ever shared from John, and he graciously allowed us to use as a cover photo..needless to say, it also immediately shot up to a top post!
Jackie is new to us at NC Culture, and when we checked out her smugmug page, we were floored…she is good, folks, and I, for one, certainly hope she posts more with us! A little about Jackie:
John is another new photographer to NC Culture, and we are so pleased to also include him in our roundup! When asked if he would like to give a little personal info on how he came to photography, this was his response:
I am in Bryson City, N.C. An amateur photographer but very serious about it. I prefer landscapes and natural light.
Eric Albright Photography on Facebook
Eric is another photographer that is new to NC Culture, and we are so glad we stumbled over him. He does have a facebook page, which is easily accessed by clicking the name above.
Grouper Hole, a Florida page, shared this excellent example of a rip current, and kindly gave their okay for us to include in our roundup. They did mention that this came from the Rip Current Awareness page, and wanted to be sure it was credited properly. This pic so clearly shows the area of calm water to watch out for, as it can so easily mask a rip.
Keith Green of Jus Messin Round Fotographie
No reason to be surprised..it doesn’t seem a week goes by without Keith Green of Jus Messin Round Fotographie being in top posts and shares..although we have to admit, this is a first..Keith had not one,not two, but three photos soar to the top
